ADAS CALIBRATION
AFTER COLLISION REPAIR

Modern vehicles are equipped with advanced safety systems that require precise recalibration after any collision repair. Firebird Collision ensures every sensor, camera, and radar system is restored to factory specifications.

WHY ADAS CALIBRATION IS CRITICAL AFTER A COLLISION

After any collision — even a minor one — the cameras, radar sensors, and ultrasonic sensors that power your vehicle's safety systems can be knocked out of alignment. A sensor that is off by even a fraction of a degree can fail to detect a vehicle in your blind spot, miss a pedestrian in your path, or fail to trigger automatic emergency braking when you need it most.

Most modern vehicles — including virtually all vehicles manufactured after 2018 — require ADAS recalibration after any repair involving the bumpers, windshield, hood, fenders, or suspension. Skipping calibration is not just a technical oversight — it is a safety risk.

SYSTEMS WE CALIBRATE

Every modern safety system, restored to factory specifications.

Forward Collision Warning

Radar and camera systems that detect vehicles ahead and warn of impending collisions.

Automatic Emergency Braking

Systems that automatically apply brakes when a collision is imminent.

Lane Departure Warning & Assist

Camera-based systems that monitor lane markings and alert or correct drift.

Blind Spot Monitoring

Radar sensors in rear bumpers that detect vehicles in your blind spots.

Adaptive Cruise Control

Radar systems that maintain following distance automatically.

Backup Camera & Rear Cross Traffic

Camera and radar systems for reversing safety.

Parking Assist Sensors

Ultrasonic sensors in front and rear bumpers for parking guidance.

360° Surround View Camera

Multi-camera systems providing a bird's-eye view of the vehicle.

OUR CALIBRATION PROCESS

01

Pre-Repair Scan

Before any repair begins, we scan your vehicle's systems to document all existing codes and system statuses.

02

Repair Completion

All collision repairs are completed first — structural, body, and paint — before calibration begins.

03

Static or Dynamic Calibration

Depending on your vehicle and the systems involved, we perform static calibration (in our facility using targets) or dynamic calibration (driving the vehicle under specific conditions).

04

Post-Calibration Verification

A final scan confirms all systems are operating within factory specifications and all calibration codes are cleared.

YOUR SAFETY SYSTEMS, RESTORED RIGHT

Don't leave the shop with safety systems that aren't working properly. We make sure everything is calibrated before you drive away.
